Our Story
Across the border food truck caters to every neighborhood in Boston and almost all of Massachusetts. Douglas and his wife Shantel Salazar started their own foodtruck back in 2018 they quickly realized that the need for Tex Mex, vegan and vegetarian Tex Mex style food is a high demand in Massachusetts with hardly no options for Tex Mex style cooking food trucks to cater to their needs.
Douglas and Shantel saw an opportunity to open up their own foodtruck and bring back a taste of homeland and a little twist from Texas and L.A to every New Englander who Never tried Mexican food with a little twist. What started off as an idea truck quickly became a success to what now has opened a location on 378 Centre Street Jamaica Plain,. As the needs of the neighborhood change we strive to keep up with the times without forgetting our humble beginnings.
